It is a particularly low-viscosity oil and one with the ability to creep that is used for the deep impregnation of solid wood. The traditional method used for wood preservation fills the available pores, surrounds the fibres and offers long-term protection against the penetration of moisture. The wood is completely saturated following treatment and the annual swelling and contraction due to water absorption fails to materialise. It is suitable for all types of wood capable of absorption in the area above and below the water.
