Motul, a pioneer in the lubricant industry with a history spanning over 171 years, continues to innovate by launching high-performance motorcycle lubricants, Motul 7100 4T and Motul 5100 4T. Known for being the first to introduce multigrade lubricants and semi-synthetic oil in 1966, as well as Ester technology lubricants in 1971, Motul has consistently developed top-notch products for both racing and everyday use. The latest 5100 and 7100 Ester-based line-up meets new industry standards, including the SP API certification and JASO T903:2023 MA2 standard, enhancing wet clutch performance and overall driving quality. According to Motul Indonesia's National Sales Director, Energy Welmart Purba, Ester Core technology in these new lubricants not only boosts engine performance but also provides unmatched protection, even for long-distance racing
.
Motul 7100 4T and 5100 4T exceed the latest technical standards and are designed for modern high-tech motorcycles, making them suitable for all driving conditions, including highways and offroads. These lubricants are particularly effective in large-engine motorcycles and heavy usage due to their Ester-based synthetic oil technology. Motul claims that these lubricants allow for longer service intervals than those recommended by motorcycle manufacturers. The 7100 4T ensures peak performance and protection throughout its use, while the 5100 4T is tailored for adventure motorcycling, offering smooth gear shifts, easy starts, and optimal fuel efficiency. The new formulation also reduces evaporation, maintaining consistent performance under extreme conditions.
Marketing Director of Motul Indonesia, Bayu Kurniawan, stated that the improved products aim to support unrestricted motor exploration. The 7100 4T and 5100 4T series became available in the Asian market, including Indonesia, from May 2024, in various viscosities to meet different driving needs. Packaging labels have been redesigned for easier identification.
